As part of DARPA's Adaptive Vehicle Make portfolio of programs, the VehicleFORGE effort seeks to provide an open-source, collaborative development environment to support the creation of complex defense systems by unaffiliated designers.

The VehicleFORGE website will allow social collaboration around vehicle design artifacts to support the Fast Adaptable Next-Generations Ground Vehicle (FANG) challenges.

In the spirit of democratizing the design process and opening the aperture for innovation, eligible challenge participants will be allowed to register and use the site to participate in the prize challenges. All source code and documentation of the website will be freely available under an open source license.
